Upsilon Pilots

Upsilon Pilots is a 2D space shooter. It has a heavy focus on combat against different enemies and bullet hell style gameplay that revolves around fast movement to dodge large amounts of projectiles. The game engine used for this project was Unity 6.

Plot: 

The player is a newly recruited pilot of a ship called Frontier Exploration Upsilon Pioneer (or FEUP, for short) and has to play one level by destroying some enemy ships while surviving by dodging incoming attacks.  These enemies are the Fast Entry Prowler (FEP) that aims its cannon at you and the Frontier Control Upsilon Police (FCUP) that charges a big and dangerous laser. To finish the level, the player has to defeat the Boss.

Controls:

• WASD can be pressed for movement in any direction.
• ENTER can be pressed for shooting.
• SPACE BAR can be pressed to activate the special shield.
